Why This Record Matters
Play The Game Right was the first widely released album by the Melody Makers, the group featuring Ziggy, Stephen, Sharon, and Cedella Marley. Recorded and mixed at Tuff Gong Recording Studio, the album connects the next generation of the Marley family with Jamaican musicians including Aston and Carlton Barrett, Earl “Wire” Lindo, Earl “Chinna” Smith, and Tyrone Downie. Rita Marley served as executive producer.
