Why This Record Matters
Spring Session M is Missing Persons’ 1982 debut full-length album, produced and engineered by Ken Scott. The lineup included Dale Bozzio, Terry Bozzio, Warren Cuccurullo, Patrick O’Hearn, and Chuck Wild, combining rock instrumentation with synthesizers in the band’s new wave sound. “Destination Unknown,” “Walking In L.A.,” and “Words” became key songs from the album and the band’s early catalog.
