Why This CD Matters
Solid State 14 was My Superhero’s second album and became the band’s best-selling release. The Anaheim group was part of Southern California’s late-1990s third-wave ska scene, combining ska with punk and power-pop elements. The album was later remastered and reissued after the band signed with Risk Records.

Collector Note
This is the 1997 US CD edition released by Sick Little Monkey Music as SLM CD-002, preceding the later Risk Records edition. Recorded, mixed, and mastered during November and December 1996 at Public Recording Studio in Brea, California, it was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Bryan LeBrun.
