Why This CD Matters
Oceania combines Māori language, traditional instruments, haka vocals, and cultural themes with electronic production and contemporary pop arrangements. The project centers on vocalist Hinewehi Mohi and Killing Joke frontman Jaz Coleman, who co-wrote and produced the album. Philip Glass, Kurt Munkacsi, Jazz Summers, and Rory Johnston served as executive producers.
