Romantic Organ Music presents Peter Hurford performing a program spanning major French and German organ composers including Widor, Vierne, Franck, Brahms, Mendelssohn, and Reger. The program opens with the Toccata from Widor’s Symphony No. 5 and also includes Franck’s substantial Chorale No. 3 in A Minor. The selections illustrate several major strands of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century Romantic organ repertoire.
