Why This Record Matters
Captured Live documents Peter Tosh performing at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles in August 1983. The seven-track program includes “Coming In Hot,” “Bush Doctor,” “Get Up, Stand Up,” “Johnny B. Goode,” and an extended “Rastafari Is.” It was Tosh’s first live album and was produced by Michael C. Collins.

This 1984 U.S. EMI America ST-17126 edition is a Winchester pressing, identified by the Winchester markings in the supplied runouts. Both sides carry MASTERED BY EMI stamps corresponding with mastering at EMI America Recording Studios.
