Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here (LP, Album, Stereo, Pitman Pressing, 1975, Columbia PC 33453)

Why This Record Matters
Pink Floyd frames the album with the two-part “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” a tribute to Syd Barrett, and explores absence across the record. “Welcome To The Machine” and “Have A Cigar” criticize the music industry, while the title track returns to Barrett’s absence with a more personal tone.

Collector Note
This US Columbia pressing was pressed at Pitman and carries HTM in the runout, identifying the Harry Moss lacquer cut. This copy includes its original inner sleeve; postcard presence has not been confirmed.
