Poe – Hello (CD, Album, Club Edition, Stereo, SRC Pressing, Atlantic / Modern Records 92605-2)

Why This CD Matters
Hello is Poe’s 1995 debut, blending alternative rock with trip-hop textures, electronic production, and direct, narrative songwriting. “Hello” and “Trigger Happy Jack (Drive By a Go-Go)” pair groove-driven arrangements with Poe’s sharply delivered lyrics. Tracks like “Angry Johnny,” “Dolphin,” and “Beautiful Girl” show the album’s range from tense rock to more reflective moments.
