¡Viva El Amor! is the Pretenders’ seventh studio album and their first studio release since 1994’s Last of the Independents. Chrissie Hynde leads a 12-track program that includes “Popstar,” “Human,” “From The Heart Down,” and “Nails In The Road.” Stephen Hague and Stephen Street divide the production duties, with original Pretenders drummer Martin Chambers performing on most of the album.
