Why This Record Matters
Broken Barricades is Procol Harum’s 1971 studio album and features Gary Brooker, Robin Trower, Chris Copping, and B.J. Wilson. Produced by Chris Thomas, the album includes “Simple Sister,” “Song For A Dreamer,” and the title track. It was the final Procol Harum studio album to feature Trower before his departure for a solo career.

Collector Note
This 1971 U.S. A&M Records SP-4294 stereo edition is a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman pressing housed in a die-cut Unipak sleeve. The supplied runouts carry the Pitman “P” identifier, and this copy includes the original inner sleeve.
