Why This Record Matters
Recorded at Edmonton’s Jubilee Auditorium on November 18, 1971, Live pairs Procol Harum with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and the Da Camera Singers. The performance includes “Conquistador,” “A Salty Dog,” and the complete 19-minute “In Held 'Twas In I” suite. Chris Thomas produced the recording, with Gary Brooker providing the orchestral parts.

Collector Note
This 1972 U.S. A&M Records SP 4335 stereo edition is a Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman pressing. The supplied runouts carry the stamped “P” identifiers associated with Pitman production, and the album was mastered at A&M Mastering Studios.
