Psycho Philly & The Automatic Posse – Episode 1 (CD, 1999, Independent)

Why This CD Matters
Episode 1 captures the adventurous spirit of Vermont’s late-1990s underground music community through a mix of psychedelic rock, funk grooves, jam-band improvisation, and experimental songwriting. The album reflects the era’s DIY recording culture, where regional bands blended multiple genres outside mainstream commercial expectations. Independent releases like this serve as important snapshots of local creative scenes that rarely received wider national distribution.

Collector Note
Original 1999 US independent pressing preserved through Vermont music archival circles. Experimental Vermont rock CDs from this period are difficult to locate, particularly sealed copies from small independent runs.
