Automatic For The People is R.E.M.’s eighth studio album and includes “Drive,” “Everybody Hurts,” “Man On The Moon” and “Nightswimming.” R.E.M. and Scott Litt produced the album, while John Paul Jones provided orchestral arrangements for four tracks. The album became one of the band’s major commercial releases of the 1990s.

Collector Note
This 1992 U.S. Warner Bros. Records edition, catalog number 9 45055-2, was glass mastered and pressed by Specialty Records Corporation. Stephen Marcussen mastered the album at Precision Mastering, with mixing by Scott Litt and Clif Norrell at Bad Animals in Seattle.
