Why This Tape Matters
Originally released in 2000, Rancid’s fifth album stripped away much of the ska influence of the band’s previous records in favor of a faster and more aggressive hardcore-punk sound. Its 22 compact tracks include “It’s Quite Alright,” “Let Me Go,” “Poison,” “Antennas,” and “Radio Havana.”
Collector Note
This Tapehead City exclusive was released for the album’s 25th anniversary and features the Poison Purple cassette shell. Limited to 500 copies, it includes a miniature replica of the original poster and lyric sheet.
