Why This Record Matters
R.E.O./T.W.O. is REO Speedwagon’s second album and Kevin Cronin’s first with the band, giving listeners an early look at the lineup that would later become a major arena-rock act. Gary Richrath’s guitar leads the record’s harder-edged rock sound, especially on “Golden Country” and “Like You Do.”
Collector Note
This is the original 1972 US Epic issue with the KE catalog prefix and yellow-label design, which was replaced by the orange Epic label in 1973. The stamped runouts match the supplied matrix variation; the release notes don't identify a pressing plant. This copy includes its original inner sleeve.
