Why This Record Matters
Secrets is Robert Palmer’s fifth solo studio album and includes “Bad Case Of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)” and his version of Todd Rundgren’s “Can We Still Be Friends?” The album was recorded and mixed at Compass Point Studios in the Bahamas, with Palmer serving as producer. “Bad Case Of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)” became a major U.S. hit for Palmer.

Collector Note
This 1979 U.S. Island Records ILPS 9544 edition was pressed at Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Winchester, as identified by the Winchester mark in the supplied runouts. Greg Calbi cut the lacquers, and Sterling Sound mastered it, with STERLING stamped in the deadwax. This copy includes the original inner sleeve.
