Why This Record Matters
Robert Palmer’s third solo album blends rock, funk, soul, and Caribbean rhythms while developing the eclectic style of his early Island Records catalog. The sessions feature members of Little Feat alongside Chuck Rainey, Jeff Porcaro, Carol Kaye, and steel-pan musician Robert Greenidge.
