Why This Tape Matters
Joyride followed Roxette’s international breakthrough and produced major singles including the title track, “Fading Like A Flower (Every Time You Leave),” and “Spending My Time.” Per Gessle and Marie Fredriksson provide the album’s central songwriting and vocal partnership, with Clarence Öfwerman producing. The album became one of the defining releases of Roxette’s early-1990s commercial peak.
