Why This Record Matters
2112 became a pivotal album in Rush’s catalog, with its first side devoted to the seven-part title suite. The album features Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, and Neil Peart and was produced and arranged by Rush with longtime collaborator Terry Brown. Side two includes “A Passage To Bangkok,” “The Twilight Zone,” and “Something For Nothing.”

Collector Note
This 1983 U.S. Mercury SRM-1-1079 club edition is housed in a gatefold sleeve with CRC printed at the lower right of the back cover. This edition uses black Mercury labels rather than the skyline-label configuration, and the supplied runouts identify the exact variant.
