Rush - Rush In Rio (2xDVD, 2003, Anthem / Zoë Vision, 011 431 040 9)

Why This DVD Matters
Rush filmed this concert at Rio de Janeiro’s Maracanã Stadium on the final night of the 2002 Vapor Trails tour, performing for a huge Brazilian crowd. The set spans the band’s career, from “Working Man” and “2112” to “One Little Victory,” with Neil Peart’s drum showcase “O Baterista” among the highlights. This was Rush’s first live DVD, capturing the trio’s return to touring after a five-year break.

Collector Note
This US Anthem and Zoë Vision edition is the two-DVD release, with the concert on disc one and “The Boys In Brazil” documentary plus multi-angle performances on disc two. The package includes the six-panel digipak, 16-page booklet, and slipcase. The DVD presentation includes widescreen video and Dolby Digital 5.1 and stereo audio.
