The Sound Of Madness is Shinedown’s third studio album and includes “Second Chance,” “Sound Of Madness,” “Devour,” “If You Only Knew,” and “The Crow And The Butterfly.” Produced by Rob Cavallo, the album became a major commercial release in the band’s catalog and broadened its hard-rock audience. This expanded edition adds nine recordings beyond the original 11-track album program, including “Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom),” “Her Name Is Alice,” an acoustic “Second Chance,” and a version of “Breaking Inside” featuring Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.
