Sonny & Chér – Look At Us (LP, Album, Mono, 1965, ATCO Records 33-177)

Why This Record Matters
After “I Got You Babe” reached No. 1 in 1965, Sonny Bono produced Look At Us as the duo’s debut LP. It pairs that hit with Sonny & Cher’s versions of songs such as “Unchained Melody” and “Then He Kissed Me,” alongside Bono originals including “Just You” and “It’s Gonna Rain.” The album captures the duo’s mid-1960s pop sound, shaped by Spector-influenced arrangements and Wrecking Crew musicians.
