Why This Record Matters
Argybargy is Squeeze’s third studio album and features the Difford-Tilbrook songs “Pulling Mussels (From The Shell)” and “Another Nail In My Heart.” Produced by John Wood and recorded at Olympic Studios in London, the album captures the band’s early new wave period with Jools Holland still in the lineup.

Collector Note
This 1980 US stereo edition on A&M Records, catalog SP-4802, was pressed by Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Santa Maria, and mastered at A&M Studios by Frank DeLuna. The supplied runouts carry the “S” identifiers associated with the Santa Maria pressing, and this copy includes the original printed lyric inner sleeve.
