Babylon The Bandit is Steel Pulse’s 1985 studio album and includes “Save Black Music,” “Not King James Version,” and the title track. David Hinds wrote most of the album, with Selwyn Brown contributing “Don't Be Afraid.” The album won the Grammy Award for Best Reggae Recording.

This 1985 U.S. Elektra 60437-1 edition uses the black-and-red Elektra labels and was pressed by Specialty Records Corporation, identified by the SP label matrices and SRC markings. The supplied runouts also carry STERLING and TJ markings. This copy includes the original inner sleeve.
