Everything Must Go is Steely Dan’s second studio album following their 1990s reunion and the final Steely Dan studio album completed during Walter Becker’s lifetime. Donald Fagen and Becker composed, arranged, and produced the nine-song album, with Becker taking lead vocals on “Slang Of Ages.” The sessions reunited the duo with longtime collaborators Roger Nichols and Elliot Scheiner while featuring drummer Keith Carlock and an extensive cast of jazz and studio musicians.
