Why This CD Matters
Stop Making Sense documents Talking Heads at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood during the December 1983 performances filmed for the concert movie of the same name. The nine-track program includes “Psycho Killer,” “Burning Down The House,” “Once In A Lifetime” and “Life During Wartime.” The expanded live ensemble includes Bernie Worrell, Alex Weir, Steve Scales, Ednah Holt and Lynn Mabry alongside David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison.

Collector Note
This early U.S.-market Sire CD, catalog number 9 25186-2, was manufactured in Japan by JVC and features the distinctive blue-on-yellow target disc design. The inserts were also printed in Japan, and the edition retains the original nine-track CD program from the 1984 release.
