Tangerine Dream / Sylvester Levay – Three O'Clock High (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) (Vinyl, LP, Reissue, Remastered, 2023, Varèse Sarabande VSD00531)

Why This Record Matters
Written for Phil Joanou’s 1987 film, this soundtrack is part of Tangerine Dream’s influential run of electronic film scores. The album combines the group’s synth-driven cues with Sylvester Levay’s dramatic compositions, alongside songs by Jim Walker and David Tickle and Rick Marotta.

Collector Note
This 2023 US Varèse Sarabande remastered reissue was mastered by Chas Ferry and lacquer-cut by Harrison Hunt at Well Made Music, with plating at RTI. The release was issued with a printed inner sleeve featuring notes and photos, plus a poster reproducing Drew Struzan’s cover art.
