Why This CD Matters
Terri Clark’s 1995 self-titled debut established the Canadian-born singer in the 1990s Nashville country scene and launched her U.S. recording career. The album includes “Better Things To Do,” “When Boy Meets Girl,” and “If I Were You,” all of which became major country singles. Produced by Keith Stegall and Chris Waters, the album introduced the direct, traditional-leaning country style that became central to Clark’s early career.
