Why This CD Matters
Eye In The Sky is the Alan Parsons Project’s sixth studio album and one of the group’s most commercially successful releases. The album pairs the instrumental “Sirius” with the title track and also includes “Psychobabble,” “Mammagamma,” and the Colin Blunstone-sung “Old And Wise.” Recorded and mixed at Abbey Road Studios, the album was produced and engineered by Alan Parsons with Eric Woolfson serving as executive producer.
Collector Note
This 1985 U.S.-market CD reissue was issued by Arista under catalog number ARCD 8033 and was manufactured in Japan, with Nippon Columbia credited as the pressing plant. The digital master was recorded using the Sony PCM-1610 system, and Chris Blair is credited as mastering consultant. The release contains the original 10-track album program and has no barcode.
