Why This Record Matters
I Robot is The Alan Parsons Project’s second studio album, built around themes inspired by Isaac Asimov’s science-fiction writing and recorded at Abbey Road Studios. The album includes “I Wouldn't Want To Be Like You” and combines progressive rock with orchestral arrangements by Andrew Powell. Alan Parsons produced and engineered the album, with Eric Woolfson serving as executive producer and co-writer on most tracks.
