The B-52's – Party Mix! (Vinyl LP, Mini-Album, 1981, Warner Bros. Records MINI 3596, Winchester Press)

Why This Record Matters
Party Mix! is a six-track 1981 release built from remixed material originally appearing on The B-52's and Wild Planet. Daniel Coulombe, Paul Wexler, and Steven Stanley handled the party remixes, extending tracks including “Party Out Of Bounds,” “Give Me Back My Man,” and “Lava.” The release captures the band’s early combination of new wave, dance-oriented rhythms, and eccentric rock.
