Rock Of Ages documents The Band’s performances at New York’s Academy of Music around New Year 1971-1972. This 1972 US Capitol SABB-11045 edition is a Scranton pressing, identified by the stamped “I A M in triangle” markings in the supplied runouts. All four sides carry STERLING RL, identifying Bob Ludwig lacquer cuts at Sterling Sound. The two-record set uses an auto-coupled side sequence and was issued in a matte tri-fold sleeve with gold foil front lettering.
