Why This Record Matters
Takin' It To The Streets marked Michael McDonald’s first album as a full member of The Doobie Brothers and introduced his increasingly prominent vocal and songwriting role. Produced by Ted Templeman, the album includes the title track and “It Keeps You Runnin'.” The Memphis Horns and Maria Muldaur are among the guest contributors.
