The English Beat – I Just Can't Stop It (Vinyl, LP, Album, 1980, Sire SRK 6091, Winchester Pressing)

Why This Record Matters
I Just Can't Stop It was The English Beat's debut album, released in 1980 as the British ska revival brought together ska, reggae, punk and pop influences. The album includes “Mirror In The Bathroom,” “Hands Off...She's Mine,” “Ranking Full Stop” and the band's version of “Can't Get Used To Losing You.” Produced by Bob Sargeant, the record established the lineup of Dave Wakeling, Ranking Roger, Andy Cox, David Steele, Everett Morton and Saxa.
