Why This Tape Matters
Originally released in 1992, Frenching the Bully is the debut album from Seattle punk band The Gits and a defining showcase for vocalist and lyricist Mia Zapata. The album combines punk intensity, blues-influenced vocals, and emotionally direct songwriting on tracks including “Another Shot of Whiskey,” “It All Dies Anyway,” and “Second Skin.”

Collector Note
This Tapehead City exclusive features a red cassette shell and was limited to 300 copies. The 2025 Sub Pop reissue was remastered by Jack Endino at Studio Endino.
