The Neville Brothers – Sister Rosa (12" Single, 1989, A&M Records SP-12306, US)

Why This Record Matters
“Sister Rosa” is the Neville Brothers’ tribute to civil rights figure Rosa Parks and originated on their 1989 album Yellow Moon. Daniel Lanois produced the original recording, while Hank Shocklee, Keith Shocklee, and Eric Sadler contributed post-production and additional music to the remixes. This 12" pairs the extended remix with a dub, 7" edit, and the original LP version.
