Synchronicity was The Police's fifth and final studio album, reaching No. 1 in the United States and becoming the band's largest commercial success. The album produced “Every Breath You Take,” “King Of Pain,” “Wrapped Around Your Finger” and “Synchronicity II,” with “Every Breath You Take” spending eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Produced by The Police and Hugh Padgham, the album was recorded at AIR Studios in Montserrat and Le Studio in Quebec and became the defining release of the band's final period.

This is the 1983 US A&M Records SP-3735 BRY purple-translucent pressing manufactured by Electrosound Group Midwest, identified by the EMW markings in the supplied runouts. Both sides carry MASTERDISK RL, documenting Bob Ludwig's Masterdisk mastering, with matrices SP-03735-A-ES4 MASTERDISK RL EMW and SP-03735-B-ES2 MASTERDISK RL EMWII. This copy includes the original custom-printed lyric inner sleeve.
