The Re-Bops – Oldies For Kool Kiddies (CD, Album, Re-Bop Records)

Why This CD Matters
Oldies For Kool Kiddies presents twelve 1950s and 1960s favorites in arrangements created for children and their grown-ups. The Vermont-based Re-Bops combine adult musicians with a children’s chorus known as the Wee-Bops, adding playful sound effects and family-friendly performances to songs including “Splish Splash,” “Lollipop,” “Monster Mash,” “Rockin’ Robin,” and “Blue Moon.” Originally introduced in 1989, the album helped establish Re-Bop Records as an independent children’s-music label.
