The Rolling Stones - Some Girls (Live In Texas '78) (DVD + CD, NTSC, Region 1, Eagle Vision EV303959)

Why This DVD Matters
Filmed at Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth on July 18, 1978, this performance captures the Stones on their US tour for Some Girls. The set combines album tracks such as “Miss You,” “Beast Of Burden,” and “Shattered” with staples including “Tumbling Dice,” “Brown Sugar,” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash.” Shot on 16mm and restored with sound remixed by Bob Clearmountain, it documents the band’s stripped-back late-’70s stage show.

Collector Note
This 2011 US Eagle Vision special edition pairs the concert DVD with a CD of the same 17-song set. It includes a reproduction tour program and a Mick Jagger interview. The DVD offers 16:9 NTSC video with Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS surround, and Dolby Digital stereo audio.
