Some Girls marked a major late-1970s resurgence for the Rolling Stones, reaching No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and becoming one of the band’s biggest-selling U.S. studio albums. This is the withdrawn first-version 1978 U.S. COC 39108 die-cut package with the original celebrity-face inner sleeve, which was subsequently altered after objections involving several depicted celebrities. The supplied ST-RS-784079 / ST-RS-784080 matrices carry PR, STERLING, and TJ markings, identifying the Presswell pressing and Ted Jensen mastering at Sterling Sound. This copy retains the original celebrity-face inner sleeve, an important component of the first-version packaging.
