Get Behind Me Satan is the fifth studio album by The White Stripes and marked a pronounced shift from the guitar-heavy attack of Elephant. Jack and Meg White built much of the record around piano, marimba, acoustic guitar, percussion, and spare blues arrangements. “Blue Orchid,” “My Doorbell,” and “The Denial Twist” became defining songs from this experimental period of the duo’s career.
