Why This Record Matters
Demons And Wizards was a major early-1970s release for Uriah Heep and includes “The Wizard” and “Easy Livin’,” the latter becoming one of the band’s best-known songs. Recorded at Lansdowne Studios in London, the album features the lineup of David Byron, Mick Box, Ken Hensley, Gary Thain, and Lee Kerslake. Roger Dean created the album artwork.

Collector Note
This 1972 US Mercury/Bronze SRM-1-630 pressing was manufactured by Columbia Records Pressing Plant, Pitman, with the stamped “P” identifying the plant. The supplied variant 3 runouts include the etched “G.K.” signature of lacquer cutter Gilbert Kong.
