Various Artists – Enchanted Carols (CD, Compilation, Saydisc)

Why This CD Matters
Enchanted Carols presents traditional Christmas music through an unusual mixture of Victorian mechanical instruments, church bells, handbells, barrel organs, street pianos, handbell ensembles, and brass band. The program combines familiar carols with change ringing and period-style mechanical medleys for a distinctly old-world holiday sound.

Collector Note
This UK Saydisc compilation combines stereo and mono source recordings and was glass-mastered by Nimbus. It offers a 48-minute program assembled from mechanical and live bell, organ, and brass-band performances.
