Rockers is the soundtrack to Theodoros Bafaloukos’s Jamaican film and brings together major roots-reggae recordings by Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer, Burning Spear, Junior Murvin, Gregory Isaacs, The Heptones, and others. Chris Blackwell compiled the soundtrack, which functions as a concentrated survey of late-1970s Jamaican reggae. The program includes “Police And Thieves,” “Stepping Razor,” “Book Of Rules,” and “Tenement Yard.”
