Why This CD Matters
The Headless Children marked a darker and more serious direction for W.A.S.P., moving beyond much of the shock-rock imagery associated with the band's earlier records. The album includes “The Real Me,” “Mean Man,” “Forever Free,” and the title track, with Frankie Banali joining Blackie Lawless, Chris Holmes, and Johnny Rod on drums. This expanded program also includes additional recordings such as “Locomotive Breath,” “For Whom The Bell Tolls,” “Lake Of Fools,” and “War Cry,” plus live versions of “L.O.V.E. Machine” and “Blind In Texas.”

Collector Note
This 2003 UK CD reissue was issued by Snapper Classics under catalog number SDPCD134 on August 12, 2003. Its expanded 16-track sequence combines the original ten-track album with six additional tracks, including studio bonus material and live recordings.
