Waves Of Adrenaline – Off On A Wild Adventure (CD, Album, 2012, Self-Released)

Why This CD Matters
Off On A Wild Adventure is the debut album by Burlington, Vermont folk duo Waves Of Adrenaline. Alana Shaw and Bridget Ahrens built the record around acoustic instrumentation, vocal harmonies, playful storytelling, and observations drawn from Vermont life. “You Can’t Drown Out Vermont” was written in response to the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Irene.

Collector Note
This independently released 2012 CD contains 14 original songs by Shaw and Ahrens. The album was issued in conjunction with a July 19, 2012 release celebration and presents the duo’s early Indigo Girls-influenced folk-pop sound.
