Why This CD Matters
Yessongs documents Yes on tour during 1972, drawing heavily from Fragile and Close to the Edge while presenting the group’s extended compositions in a live setting. The performances feature Jon Anderson, Chris Squire, Steve Howe and Rick Wakeman, with both Bill Bruford and Alan White represented on drums. Originally released as a triple LP in 1973, the album includes expansive versions of “Close To The Edge,” “Yours Is No Disgrace,” “Roundabout,” and “Starship Trooper.”

This 1987 U.S. Atlantic two-CD reissue carries catalog numbers SD 100-2 and 100-2 with barcode 075678130021. This edition was glass mastered by Specialty Records Corporation and made by WEA Manufacturing. The CD mastering is credited to Barry Diament at Atlantic Studios.
