ZZ Top – La Futura (2 × Vinyl, 12", 45 RPM, Album, Stereo, 180 Gram, Gatefold, 2012, American Recordings B0017381-01)

Why This Record Matters
La Futura is ZZ Top’s fifteenth and final studio album and their first collection of new studio recordings in nine years. Produced by Rick Rubin and Billy F Gibbons, the album reconnects the band’s Texas blues foundation with the stripped-down power-trio sound heard on “Gotsta Get Paid” and “Chartreuse.”

Collector Note
2012 US double-LP edition on American Recordings, pressed on 180-gram vinyl at 45 RPM and housed in a gatefold cover. Mastered by Vlado Meller at Masterdisk, cut by Bernie Grundman, and pressed by United Record Pressing.
